Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash; we cannot read them.
Workspace content
Everything your team adds to plotiwa, such as projects, tasks, clients, materials, stock records, quotations, accounting records, messages, attendance records and uploaded files. This content belongs to your organisation.
Technical information
Like most online services, our servers record basic technical data such as IP addresses, request times and error logs, so we can keep the service secure and working.
This website
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve plotiwa.
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To let members of your organisation work together on shared content.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To send important notices about the service, such as changes to these terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workspace content for advertising.
Sharing
Content in a workspace is visible to members of that organisation according to their role. We use trusted providers to host and deliver the service (for example, cloud hosting and content delivery), and they process data only on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account or organisation is active. You can ask us to delete your account or your organisation's data by contacting us.
Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and will notify you of any breach that affects you, as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. To make a request, email hello@plotiwa.com.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
